No your right it has gone by fast, with rain everyday it sure made things difficult this summer. Many say we didn't have much of a spring or summer with all the rain. It will be interesting to see what happens this winter with all the precipitation. If it continues we could have a bad one. Enjoy your time is the best we can do.

Yeah, summer slipping by fast alright. Horrible humidity here in Jersey, I hate it. I think the older you get the faster time seems to by. My daughter lives in Delta Junction Alaska and they always have a very short summer she said they had nothing but rain and the leaves are turning already, said like it seemed like no summer at all.

It has flown for me too, ready for fall and hunting. But just like you, I dont like time to pass so quickly. It passes so much faster as we get older.

If it wasn't for wanting to shoot all the trad archery shoots we go to, I'd like to be put into suspended animation at the end of January and brought back out the first of September.

When I passed 70 the seasons seemed to double time in their haste to get over with. I can't say I'll miss the heat though, the Autumn time is custom made for this old fart.

It's been hot and dry in Utah, and July felt like it would never end. August has flown by, and for that I say good riddance.

Bring on September, and better yet October and November.

I was sitting in the hot sun today, watching grandkids soccer games. I made a comment about being tired of the heat, and said I couldn’t wait til fall. About 4 people said, Me too!

It moved to Texas. It'll be summer here for a while.

It can't end soon enough for me. We still have about two months of summer type weather here. I come alive in the fall and winter is nice as well.

Monkeyball, how old are ya? I'm 67 and all of my seasons pass at warp speed. Weeks and month are a blur. That said, we still have over two months of hot, buggy, snaky weather left down here.

What wonderbowman said. We've got summer left.

Yes, I must agree that time seems to go by too fast, except maybe the winter months. Would like to slow the calendar down about Sept. 15 till about Thanks giving. It doesn't seem like I'm getting much done either....don't know when I found time to work back when I did??

I actually love to see it go myself! I like a cool crisp Fall morning and a 50 degree day where all I need to wear is a flannel shirt. Here in Maryland the humidity can be thick and and miserable.

From: Rough Run

Summer is just something I survive, rather than enjoy. Can't stand the heat and humidity. My kids are grown and gone now, so summer activities are just heaps of home maintenance and, long, hot, sticky days of work. I live for the seasons where anything above 65 degrees is a hot day. Morning coffee tastes better with a chill in the air.

From: rallison

I can handle heat and humidity pretty good...don't particularly like it, but can handle it. This summer has buzzed by like the others...bing...gone.

Fall is my favorite time of year, and it too passes quickly.

Behind that is winter. Which drags along like a lame sloth!

I told the guys at work once...I wanna know why the days drag so slow, and the years go so fast! I want top people working on this...I want some answers.

Woke up this morning to a beautiful day....cool and crisp for August in Pennsylvania. Summer is a growing and harvest time for us...mowing lawns around the house and fields around the farm and time seems to just keep moving. Heading to church soon and then up to check on the cabin. It's been so wet this year that we haven't had an opportunity to use the cabin much. We still have a month of summer....it's not gone yet,

Love a cool Fall morning with a wood fire in the old stove. August heat still here but a body can feel Autumn. I can remember the old cast iron kitchen range my Gram cooked on and heated the kitchen with on early Fall mornings. Everytime I smell newsprint burning it triggers my memory of her starting a fire in the mornings. Toast made on the hot stove with homemade butter...that was the best!

Wanted to mention about the number of deer we seen while in Potter County for ETAR between the cabin at Germania and Denton. I was impressed, bid does everywhere, seen one buck.

Whadda you mean where did summer go? Its still 102 degrees here in NorCal. And the fires keep on burning. About half a million acres so far and no letup in sight.

From: osageghost

Living on the east coast I can honestly say I don't care if I ever see another July and August again, the humidity just drags the life out of me.

From: George D. Stout Compton's Traditional Bowhunters

We've had lots of rain, and dewpoints in the mid to high 60's so we have the air you can wear. Wish we could send some of that west.

I had a stand of 100+ year old Yew trees located just north of Clear Lake. Not likely a single one of those survived.

No I thought it went by slow. Deer season is here now. I wear 30lbs of black gear and often am working in the heat so I'm always wishing summer over. I guess if I had summer off the way I did when I was in school I'd love summer still.

From: Dry Bones

The HEAT has been a little to long here in Texas and sure aint showing signs of letting up. I know we have not had the record setting string of triple digits, but I am most ready for the cool down. I honestly believe if my wife wasn't such a warm weather fan, we would have moved to a much cooler environment by now.

Summer flew by because of all the wet! Haven't fished in a month or more, and still cutting the grass once a week. Started cutting trails today (in the rain), since the season will be here soon.

Summer is where it needs to be , in the rear view mirror. Hate the hot months, we need to go from spring right into fall.

From: charley

I'm ready for fall. Hot humid summer here in the northeast. I've been a slave to an out of control garden, and that's my hobby. The farm has been extra relentless.

From: MStyles

This Summer has flown by like a runaway Santa Fe Super Chief. I hate the Chicagoland humidity, it saps my energy like nothing else. I can deal with the heat, but not the humidity. I’ve taken to working outside after 6pm into the night just to avoid it. My bushes have never grown out of control like this Summer. OK, enough whining. “I like Winter, And Spring is nice... Let’s Skip Summer, And do Fall twice”

Yep, summer is alive and well in Texas. Was at the lease this weekend and the heat is still brutal. A tad cooler than last month but still at or near triple digits.

It got washed away with the rain in this bush. Terrible summer with humidity.

Stayed inside Netflix.LOL

Infusions every 3 weeks. Who knows if what anymore. Good days and bad days nothing is level.
