Curious what everyone uses as an everyday hunting pack. Not multi day excursions.

Game plan gear "full rut". I think xop is now making it as the "shadow".

I have a pretty ample fleece fanny pack. It holds all I need for a day in the woods. I've had this for over two decades now and it's bee used a lot...sewn a bit and still goes on.

I have a few. Which one I use depends on how many hours ( all day vs an hour or two ) I'm going to be roaming the woods and mountains and how much I want to carry. I like daypacks more than fanny packs.

Mystery Ranch Dragon Slayer. I have hauled out a bunch of boned out deer in one trip with it. It kind of goes with my Griffen long bow. MAP

Everyday: WW II gas mask bag. Holds everything I need. I attached a quickee quiver to it so it hauls may arrows also.

For deer and elk in Colorado I use my Kuiu 3200. I always have enough gear to spend a night out and pack an elk quarter out on the first trip. For whitetail, a fanny pack.

I use a SOG I got from Wallyworld that looks like the one in Frank's picture on the far right.

Either a badlands daypack or more recently a badlands monster fanny pack.

Been using a Day One pack for almost 30 years and just bought a new one last year. IMO best day pack out there and made in the USA. I've used it on elk, bear, caribou, and many deer hunts.

For everyday hunting I use a haversack I made about 20 years ago. Carries everything I need for a day in the woods as well as an overnight kit.

Pocketses on warm days, turkey vest with pouch on cool dry days, fanny pack on cold days or longer day trips, Gamehide camo raincoat over fanny pack on wet days, and old Coleman external frame with pack attached on long hikes into Indian Heaven or anywhere elk hunting. Same stuff now for decades. I haven't bought any pack gear in years, no need to.

Mine is called the Spot and Stalk Quiver pack. It has a spot where you screw a quicky quiver mount to so you can take a quiver on and off of it. Works great, been using it for about 10 years.

A Fieldline fleece single bag medium day pack. I've had it for 10 years and cost me under $20 as I remember. It holds all I need for a day hunt. I also have a Cabelas cordura nylon day pack that is 30 years old and still in great shape. I use it if I go out for a short hunt.

Bison Gear Lost River for me. I have had it a couple of years now and love it. Before was using the Kuiu 1850, which is much lighter, but like how quite the bison gear wool is, as well as having multiple pockets and dividers.

An old turkey hunting vest with lots of pockets and a game bag in the back to carry a light coat and other sundries. I seem to have quicker access to my things than with a fanny pack or back pack.

this thing I made. It's a combo haversack/quiver/chest pack organizer thing. Made from a canvas drop cloth that I dyed and waxed. I'm working on another, slightly bigger one now using a bit better quality canvas - I have a wonderful old Singer sewing machine from 1937 that will sew through anything you can stuff under the foot just about, which makes it a whole lot easier to sew canvas.

Thanks all. I've been using the Cat Quiver VI pack without the quiver attached for over 10 years. It's served me very well but I always feel like have too much extra stuff, so I was thinking of downsizing. Appreciate all the responses.

One of about three various Duluth packs or shell bags or haversack. Sometimes an eberlestock minty-me. Depends how cold, what I'm out for, and how much stuff needs to be brought along.

I mostly use a fanny pack. Now and then a turkey vest.Recently got a Alps Outdoorz Comander external frame and pack.I plan to use the frame alone to make hauling treestands ladders etc a little easier.

any cheap pack will do as my treestand pack, as all I do is hang it on my treestand while walking to stand, pull up and hang in tree when I get there. I have taken deer, hauled stand and pack to truck, emptied pack, hiked back to deer, skin and debone deer, and haul meat back in that cheap pack. If im going deep on a bivy hunt my badlands 2200.Same deal, I can haul out a good load of meat with it.

Most of the time I can get away with just my pockets. But I'll use an old feildline fanny pack to carry a few things. I've never needed much stuff on a hunt. And the older I get, I need even less

I use an old (20 some years old) Cabelas day pack with 1 outside pocket. I'm surprised it's still holding up. I tryed a few different fanny packs. They're alright but I still got to my day pack most of the time.

I feel like the redneck of the bunch, but I carry a simple white plastic grocery bag with just some water in it. My knife is on my hip, and everything else is in my pockets as well.

Take the water out and put them on the ground when I get to the blind, shove the bag in my pocket, and if I get lucky and have to track, cut pieces off the bag to use as markers on the trail, taking them off when I leave of course. Works for me, and the white shows up pretty good.

I use some cheap Walmart bag. It's no name junk, has a long strap I can sling over my shoulder like a possibles bag when I ground hunt. I strap it to my climber or or stand when tree hunting. Pretty good junk, waterproof cheap doesn't soak up smell to bad.

One of the following, depending on the circumstances:

Duluth Pack Field Satchel (old 18 oz. version, in OD): https://www.duluthpack.com/field-satchel.html It will carry a boatload of stuff and will outlive me. I use it for treestand hunting, and it is very handy and very quiet on the ground as well.

Alps Outdoorz Big Bear, with front accessory pockets added: http://www.alpsoutdoorz.com/products/packs/hunting-packs/big-bear and http://www.alpsoutdoorz.com/products/packs/pack-accessories/accessory-call- pockets I bought this thing never having seen one of their packs and expecting to be underwhelmed. I've made amends for that by carrying it for several hundred hours in the field by now. :-)

Eberlestock X2: http://www.eberlestock.com/store/x2-pack Just read their description. Everything in it is the honest truth.
