Hey fellow Leatherwallers: if you are anywhere near the Seneca Shoot just a few miles into West Virginia from the Southwestern Pennsylvania border, you have a great opportunity to shoot at a great club and course Sunday, Aug. 26, as day 2 of their 2-Day Traditional Archery shoot.
Here's their Facebook link:

I rode along with "Banjo" and Mrs. "Banjo", and this morning met up with fellow "Strictly Sticks" crew Bernie and alum Ron, and "Salty Dog", and we shot a great West Virginia course, complete with open-air shots, flats, a creek or two, some mountain-top vistas, and everything else a course can offer.
The shoot continues tomorrow, and I'm sure there will be plenty more good shooting happening then.
It was also great to talk with Mark from "Mace Family Traditions" Traditional Archery supplier, who had just the right string for my recurve, plus a bunch of other items that most of us need sooner or later.
Though I won't be there tomorrow, if I heard correctly, a few more from the "Sticks" gang will be headed over tomorrow, to take in the fun.
"Kudos" to the ENTIRE Seneca Crew/Wildlife League of Ohio County Crew for welcoming us, and a whole bunch of other Traditional Archers today.
It was great to be among friends again!
