I had a bow for trade in the classified section and got a message from one of our very well known selfbow builders. He says, “ If you dont get any offers on your bow maybe we can work something out”. I instantly wanted one of his bows. He sent me a couple pictures, we text back and forth, and made the trade today. This bow is amazing. 69” Yew, dead quiet and zero hand shock. I cant believe how smooth this thing is. Here are a few pics.

Ron, I agree with you completely. I got the better deal. I’ve been texting Chris all afternnon telling him how great the bow is. These are my last four arrows of the evening. I did a quick walk up, 24 20 16 14. What a good shooting bow.

Once you shoot a well made selfbow you'll understand why some guys like them so much. That is one beautiful bow. I'd definitely put Chris in the "well made" class. He is a very talented bowyer always willing to help people out. Enjoy your new bow....selfbows are so much fun to shoot.

I would love one of his yew bows, but I'm afraid after shooting one I would never make another one. At my age that may not be a bad thing..LOL! I never liked snakeskin bows, but that just looks right on that one.

Awesome bow! Those black rat snake skins look great on it. The stingray grip tops it off nicely. Pearl is an amazing bowyer. I am lucky enough to call him a close friend and own several of his bows. I took one to the woods this season and killed a deer with it.

Pearl is one of the finest people I've had the pleasure of meeting and I believe I've meet a lot of fine people. I think it's so cool that you took one of his bows to the woods and used it for it's intended purpose Clint. I'm really hoping to do the same some day. Really hoping T4 does with this one.
