I'll have to show him my Carroll's. I bet he could make a set of limbs for it. Bowyers I talked to wouldn't touch making limbs with a curved base. His bows are similar in design to the Wing bows. Very nice.

Remembered an article years ago in Traditional Bowhunting magazine and a friend and I were both talking about how we liked his design. The picture you have at top of the one piece is simply "AWESOME" and the wood combo compliments each other with the elk overlays. Beautiful bow you were able to try out.

Keefers, his bows are definitely pretty. And they are great shooters. They can definitely hold their own.

I have one on order. Shouldn't be too long now as he guessed maybe late June when we talked about it and I sent the deposit. Mine should look a lot like the one piece in the first picture.

Brad when you get it can you post pictures here ? Sure would like to see a close up of different angles of the limb tips? If it looks like that one it sure will be a head turner..

I first met Paul about twenty years ago when he lived in the same community as I. We were both wearing red/black wool shirts; we spoke the same language. I shot one of his bows then and always wanted one, Now, I've ran into Paul again at regional shots. A great guy; he's making me a bow also.

I will have to agree with Mr Stout about the bow profiles. I have a Wing Thunderbolt and its profile is very much like the one piece. I really like the classy lines on the one piece and the take down. I would also like to see an email address or other contact information.

Hookedspur, Is that last pic one of Paul's original riser bows? All of his earlier bows had that "star" in the grip, which I really like. Paul's craftsmanship is impeccable.

I met and talked to him at the WTA banquet this past year. They are a nice looking bow and was on my list of bows to check out an get. That is a wicked bend at the limb connections. I did not get to shoot one, that was unfortunate. Does he have a website yet? it seemed to me the only contact was by phone.

If I remember correctly, his one-piece bow is 60" and the takedown is a 64"er. Fellow-waller Schlaggerman had one many years ago that I named "Buck Magnet". That bow was VERY good to him.

I also have a Bob Lee Thunderbolt so when the new bow arrives I can lay them side by side and snap a few pictures. My first impression when I saw the one piece was Wing Slimline. I don't have a Slimline yet but hope to find one in my specs one of these days.

Love those tips and overlays as well...I love seeing bowyers bringing back some of the older designs if that is what they were intending to do and adding a touch of their own talent into the bows with exotic woods and putting a little extra time in the limb tips and overlays . That is a bow that one can past down from generation to generation .Thanks for sharing those pictures with us and I will be visiting this post a lot to see if anything has been added .

Hi Brad.. Looking at the first two pics there seems to be a difference in the profiles of the bows. I have two Wing Slimlines and the second pic does look very similar to them. But the first pic favors the Thunderbolt. Maybe it is just the way the bows were turned when they were photographed. Either way your going to have a great looking bow. And would really like to see side by side pics.

I'll take a few pictures and post them when it comes. Paul messaged me this evening and we discussed the SlimLine and the Thunderbolt. He was a little curious about the Thunderbolt so I sent a picture. I'm not expecting to see mine for a while yet as he has been working long hours at the real job. Funny how work gets in the way of important stuff, isn't it?

Paul, didn’t say a “couple”, said several. Believe it was 5 dozen, of which you rec’d all of them. Funny thing now you say they were made wrong. Why didn’t you say something at that time. Nope just silence on your end about the arrows. Oh well after all this time I’ve gotten over it, just don’t t want someone else to get the same. Good luck.

Beautiful bows. You must use magic on those antler overlays. To get them so symmetrical with just the right ratio of color to ivory.Yes Sir gota be magic. >>>----> Ken
