If anyone is in need of half a takedown bow, there is the bottom half of a solid Pearson fiberglass bow for sale on E***. Opening bid is $49.99 plus shipping. Just my luck, I was looking for the top half.

I've never been able to handle those, the tiller is just too far off and a floating nock point is for experts only.

Well, if you had one with a broken top limb, it may be worth the trouble to get it. You would want to make sure the weights are relatively close. Other than that, it's half a bow.

Matching up two different halves more than likely wouldn't work , even if they were from the same weight bows the tiller would be far off . Just laying up the fiberglass wrong in a bow makes the tiller off so bad you cant bring it into alignment.
