Hey Craig. I had one at one time, as well as many other incarnations of the '59er. 7 3/8 is pretty darn close to where I liked most of them. There is certainly room to move up or down from there, til you hit the sweet spot.

Around 7 and 3/4.The deflexed riser likes a bit more than many other 50s era recurves.
