When adding a stab to your set up,will that change the tune? I was tuning a hunting set up on a Gilo Ghost riser set @ 45 .lbs RC carbon wood limbs and shooting pretty good (not great) and remembered that I had not installed my new stab which is a eight inch bee stinger. When I installed the stab the arrows started fishtailing like really bad. They come close to the mark but arrow flight is crazy. I can only imagine what a board head will do. Shooting 1816 Easton camo lights with 125 field point @ 26.5 dl three four inch parabolic feathers. Thanks for your help Gary

If I remember correctly adding a stabilizer or quiver will make your arrows fly a little stiffer. So if you are on the edge of a tune (or not tuned at all just getting good flight) it could make the difference. Regards

It makes a slight difference but usually nothing that radical. Like Big Dog said maybe you were right on the edge. Take a few shots taking it on and off to be sure that is the problem and nothing else happened in the meantime. Tuning should always be done with all accessories in place but it shouldn't take more than a minor adjustment to get you back on.Good luck with it. >>>----> Ken

It's likely telling you that you're borderline spine. You can adapt to that by tuning with the stabilizer on. I've never had that issue with mine, but you may be borderline light with the 1816 and 125's. How far into or past center is your bow?

If a small stab is affecting the tuning, it means the arrow was very close to "not-tuned" stage. Maybe you are doing something with your bow hand right at release to compensate the new weight of the riser combined with finger plucking the release.

Went home for lunch and tried the 1916 with a 100 grain point and at twenty yards it flew with no wobbles or wiggles and took no effort to hit the mark.So now I have something to micro tune and will have to settle on a 100 grain broad head. Thanks for the help,Gary
