I started a refinish thread some time ago on a 50's maybe even late 40's Bear Polar longbow and she's finally done. As old as it is some of the age still shows through in places but it still turned out great.

Here's a pic of my FS today, one from 15 and one from 25 (red). The specs are 64" 66 @ 28 and smooth as melted butter.

I've got an old York Crescent recurve with woven glass that's up next. It's in great shape with no dinks, dings or damage but it sure needs a new protective finish.

Looks good and congratulations, I really like the Polars. Had a 58# come apart a few years back, it was bought off the bay and had no idea of previous use or storage.
