Damn Frank,,i thought i was the only sucker that gets 5hrs of sleep a night and is up 5am every morning. ; )

No guys, I go to bed at 11:00 and get up 3:00 am when things are going well, usually 3 hours a night. That is why the afternoon nap is required...Ha!Ha!

Scott, I'm up around 5:30am or 6:00am every morning. I guess I still get up like I'm going to work, but I've been retired a few years. Guess I can't get out of the habit of getting up for work. Also I usually shoot in the mornings to avoid the heat and humidity.

I understand brother,,,atleast its a routine I call my job pay back for my wasted youth,,,,,phone rings you go,,2-3 days at a rip After 20yrs the body doesnt know what to do,,,so it just lets me get a good soild 4-5hrs I will admit as i get older not sleeping for 2-3 days is not an option like it used to be,,,when i was young it was the only way to do anything besides work

Sorry to as usual change subject,,,i just noticed Franks Johny on the spot every morning,,,and the targets show it

Scott that's only at 30 yards and closer. Past 30 yards my accuracy / consistency isn't as good. I've been practicing a little bit more at the longer ranges. Personally I'd never take a shot past 30 yards at a live animal because I don't feel I'm accurate / consistent enough, but it is fun to shoot the longer shots.

Anybody got a clue on Throwback or BBAULDIN ? Haven't seen them in a while? Anybody else that I've missed that hasn't chimed in??

Here’s mine. I’ve been absent a few days too. My grandson and I have been working on getting my Nova back together, so no time. I shot 3 arrows at 15yds to try a “Frank” shot. All three in there but not as tight as his. Shooting my 50# Bearcat T/D and some 2117’s. I hope you all have a good evening. Lance

BATMAN asked what year my car was, and what I was doing, so I’ll enter this as my “before shot”, and if Phil chooses to delete it, that’s okay, and please except my apologies in advance. This is a mock up of how it’ll look when the intake is back on. We just finished the oil pan, starter, harmonic balancer and water pump. Lance

I just couldn't take it! I was trying to take a few days off shooting but I just finished up the redo on the old 50's Polar and had to try it for a FS. I shot one from 15 and one from 25(red). She specs 64" 66 @ 28. She lives to hunt another day.

I love the obstructions shot. So, I did one at 18 yrds with the 51# Yellowstone Hunter. I hit about 1 to 2 inchs left from where I was looking. But, the way my eyes are, maybe I was looking there. He! he! :^) But i'll take it. The bugs were bad and a little humid too.

Love your bow Ronnie!

I have been struggling to get into the leatherwall. I tried my phone numerous times and our iMac. I finally looked at my registration and there was a couple blanks they asked to be populated and to acknowledge their usage agreement. I submitted the info and the 2nd try with the Mac worked. I'll try the phone next.

I tried a 16 yard, elevated 12', twister and had good success. I think it is good to take a break from shooting now and then.

Great setup on your before shot Lance. If you were my GP I would be hanging out with you too!

Nice shooting and conversations above!

Still can't get into the leatherwall with my phone (iPhone 6Plus). The iMac is hit or miss. Anyone have suggestions on what to check? This has never been a problem. I will say that my iPhone has slowed down and is eating up the battery storage quicker than normal. "Planned obsolescence" on Apple's part I thinkI have rebooted my phone several times..

From: servingOne

The error on my phone says "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding."

Thanks for any tips!

Did the aim small miss small at 6 yrds with my 51# Yellowstone Hunter. Goin for the Merrell buck. I think I got white fur from grazing his underside. :^) It realy got humid today.

I don't know how you southerners deal with the humidity in the summer. :-/ I would be doin my 1 shot-n-done and back in the ac. I wish I had a place in Alaska to go to for the summer. :^)

12 yards with the Bear Polar longbow 64" 66@28. Used my new 6 dollar stool to sit on. Being a ground hunter I don't take a lot to the woods and I love practicing the way I hunt.
