Today's shot will be a precision shot from 9yards. Shoot at something tiny on your target and see how close you can get.
God Bless,

In spite of all the whining and belly aching about a 9 yard shot being too close everyone is looking good. :-) I shot over a doe at 7 yards elevated 18’. Grrr!
Shot as called. I love these close shots.
Thanks for the call CD!

Matt ; At nine yards you might as well jump on it and wrestle it to the ground and hog tie it....Ha!Ha!

Grizz, thanks for helping to eat my humble pie. I know Chad has confessed a similar miss a few years ago. It happens.
Ron, LOL! I have a friend that almost tried that with a buck from 3 yards. I asked him if he had a death wish.

Good shooting everyone!
I clean missed a BIG 9-pt at less than 3 steps one time... Didn't even cut a hair. I was about 9 feet above him... I could have killed him with a brick. It still haunts me..... I didn't even know that was possible.

Thanks for the call Big John. All those Howatt photos inspired me to pull out my lefty 1960 Howatt Hunter, 50+#, a better bow than I am an archer. But I missed the call so I just strung the bow and let fly from 23 yards at last light.
