It's only Dark because of the Black wood sides,of the Ebony. I've never used it before. This one is gonna have a heart beat. Go Lancers!!! Traditional archery is actually the Brite side :-)

That is beautiful, intricate work.
What is the gray colored adhesive you used to glue the ebony ? Would it work on teak ?

It only appears Gray after its sanded it's smooth on epoxy. It would go clear if it was sanded and cleared again. JF

No fancy cnc machineing here. Just my template,cut and grind by feel and my eyes. Oh and I do listen to the grinder on how it's cutting to get in the groove of things. That's my process. JF

Trimming up this Osage slab. Checking for moisture content. Part is 6-7% and some is 10-11% it's just about ready :-) I harvested it 2 & 1/2 years ago.One Longbow will be Osage limbs, the other Maple. I plan on both bows being 42# when I'm done :-) JF
