I have some drops off my Osage Longbows. These billets are two inches wide at fades 30 inches long. Short bow possibilitys. I don't build the shorties. Very clean no knots. Any one want them. May be able to get 58" bow with 6-8 inch handle. Arvin

If not they could be used for a two piece take down. Arvin

Or for the not so primitive. Limbs for a three piece take down.lol Arvin

Hi Arvin the bow you made for me is still shooting great. I would like to try my hand at making one but they would be too short for my draw. If you end up with a piece not spoken for. I could use it for tips, overlays, and knife handles. It wouldn't need to be one of the better ones or need a mate. I have completed a laminated bow but haven't attempted a self bow yet.You set the bar too high. Thanks. >>>----> Ken

Ken I've got knife handle material for sure. How much do you want? Arvin

Not me Arvin, but I did get 2nd place at Pappy's with the bow I got from you.

Sorry, I misspoke! I got 3rd with 354. First was Matt Crammer with a 364, and second was Mike Middlebrook with a 361.

(I had second in my mind from a shoot last weekend. I'm old.)

Arvin hold on to those and make a flight bow about 54" long!

Arvin 1/2 of one of those billets would last me a long time. It doesn't even have to be big enough for a billet. Let me know and I will pay the postage when you get around to it. Thank you so much. >>>----> Ken

A huge thank you to Arvin for his generosity. This will be my 1st attempt at making a 2pc selfbow with takedown sleeves. Hopefully I will do the billets justice. Thanks again Arvin.

Nice gesture Arvy and have fun Steve. I just toss my cut offs into my scrap pile. Should start saving them and giving thew away like you did here.

Pearly I plan on having lots of fun with the billets. Not sure if I should try the epoxy sleeve (which seems a little more difficult) to do with billets or stick with my original plan of the Dykhoff metal sleeve system. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Steve I would do the system that will give you the longest bow. They all will work. Arvin
