Pick up a bear grizzly today . Put about 40 arrows thru it shoots nice but looks kinda rough . I like to refinish it . Would that ruin the collector value .? It is a 56 dual shelf bear grizzly . Thanks for any input

I have one too. Keep thinking of refinishing it but just too lazy. Seems to be quite a few in pretty good shape out there, so I’m guessing a ratty one wouldn’t gain a lot of value over time. This is just my opinion. If you do it, please post pics, maybe it’ll get me inspired lol.
I bought mine after deciding to learn to shoot both sides. They do shoot nice with correct arrows.

If it was me, I'd do it.
I enjoy making them shine again.

A rough looking 56 Grizzly doesn't bring top value by any standard. Refinish and use it. Even the 55 and 56 Kodiaks don't bring the money the you may think.

It does not have collector value like a 64 kodiak and some other bear bows.My son bought 2 of them, and did not care for them .So i fixed them up to sale ,put them on ebay for very reasonable price no takers. If you like the bow refinish it ,and keep and enjoy.
