Got a tip on an estate sale today so we stopped by there on the way home from church. It was another good score. Almost 200 arrow shafts, a Bits jig and 10 feather clamps for an Easton jig [don,t know anything about the Easton jigs]. There were 40 new full length 2514's, Autumn orange. These are logs but I would like to pass them on. So I am looking for Veterans to pass them out to. If you are a veteran or know of one please contact me. I will toss in the point inserts.

Veteran here. Jon I shot 2412's and 2513's line cutters with a CP. It seems like those would fall in there close. Way too stiff for any of my "Trad" stuff. Thanks. >>>----> ken

Vietnam vet, 70-71. I shoot a 66 pound recurve, and have many other weights to play with. Thanks for your generosity, even if I am not chosen.

Jon - I do not need any shafts, so don't put me name in the hat. However, I want to thank you for remembering the Veterans on this Memorial Day. Ross (9th Infantry Division; Mobile Riverine Force (MRF); Vietnam 68-69)

I don't need any Jon Stewart, but I can't think of a more fitting gesture on this day. Just came back from VFW cemetery sevices that always bring a moment of reflection and a tear or two. Thanks for your thoughts. This is exactly what this site and the nation needs more of. Thank you again. --Mark in Idaho, Army Security Agency, 1960s

Just wanted to come back and Thank Jon for being so giving. I appreciate his good will. We should all reflect on today's meaning, as I'm sure we all know someone who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Got my shafts today. I can't thank Jon enough for his generosity and for the reason he did the giveaway. Yep Memorial Day isn't about the lake and cookouts.
