Just a note to verify plans have been finalized and both Mike Mitten and myself (Barry Wensel) will have a vendors booth at the Compton gathering in Berrien Springs, MI June 15-16-17th. Mike will have his brand new DVD "Chasing Solitude" and I will have my latest DVD "The Crooked Hat Chronicles", as well as our books available there. Stop by and say hello... and bring some ice cream! BW

Thanks for the offers but you don't talk ice cream to a fat guyor you'll be sorry. My all time favorite is called: Dark Chocolate Gelato Fiasco Sorbetto (I'm serious). It's made in Brunswick, Maine and costs $8. a pint and worth every penny. The best food I ever put in my mouth. Thanks anyway! A more reasonable favorite is Luigi's Italian Ice in Mango flavor. $1.99 for six single cups. You can buy all kinds of flavors of Luigi's like Lemon, raspberry, watermelon, cherry, etc. but you can't buy the Mango other than on the east coast. I don't get that.. they supposedly sell 85 million of them annually and they don't distribute them nationally. Whatever. Ron, I didn't spill any down the front of my shirt did I? I'm such a neat-freak. bw

My favorite flavor is Orange Pineapple. When I was a kid an ice dream cone was a nickel a dip. My Grandpa and Grandma had a Texaco gas station and sold hand dipped ice cream. I always got free cones from them and it was Orange Pineapple. They still make that flavor, it's hard to find but when I get it, it reminds me of those days.
