Glad it made safe and sound, Will. There is a short story behind the bow and why Will now owns it. A while back fly fishing was part of a topic and I mentioned loving it. Will said he had more flies than he'd use in his lifetime and that he'd send me some. When the package arrived I found a hundred various buggers and nymphs.......and a very nice custom made 5wt fly rod and tube that was certainly a surprise to me. Now to the bow. I started it about 5 years ago, but never got around to finishing it. I knocked the weight down to fit Will's comfort range, sealed and added a leather grip. Its black locust and 61" long. It draws 46 @ 26, but will handle 27" easily.

I am always in AWE of people who can make these bumpy bow! wow, the curve on that looks incredibly good!
specially because I sucked at making board bow, which was suppose to be relatively easier...

Had the pool table reconditioned from a old pool hall. It's a Olhausen table that's solid oak. Keeps me busy during the winter.
