To the best of my knowledge, that is not a Hummingbird bow made by the late Ben Graham of North Carolina. Ben's bows were more of a hybrid longbow design with a handle somewhat similar to those on the 21st Century longbows.

Do a simple search on the web. There are plenty of images of Ben's one piece longbow.

Well, actually it is a Hummingbird...of a sort. Ben built those Shelby Mustangs for a dealer somewhere, I think, in the north, maybe Michigan but not sure. They came off of the same form that Ben's Hummingbirds were built on but he did change the riser section a bit to differentiate them from his own Hummingbirds. he told me this himself.

I can't speak for his longbows, as I have never had the chance to shoot one of those, BUT I have a Hummingbird Takedown recurve that is 50# @ 28 and I swore there was no way that bow was 50# until I finally got to the Archery shop and had it put on their scale. SUPER smooth, I had Linda re-finish recently and Love That Bow. It's a shame I did not get one from Ben himself. If I can ever squeeze a deal on one of his longbows I might just have to try it.

No pic, but a buddy of mine has a one piece Dynastick with phenolic in the riser that has pretty good mass to it. Really smooth shooter.

My old Hummingbird Kingfisher is listed with RMS Gear..52/26.. ..I only sold it as it grew too stiff for me. If it is possible to feel love for an inaminate object I came close with that bow...a thing of beauty..I still miss her! Sandy

Yes Dave is right. I also ask Ben. He made them for Rob Shelby from Sagertown,Pa. I bought this bow from Rob at Denton Hill. I think he has since moved to Alaska. A Real nice shooter too much wt. for me. If I don't sell will send in to refinish and reduce wt.

This is the bow I mentioned earlier in the thread over a year ago. Still have the bow and still shoot it regular.
