Hi MB- The makers of the lam shafts was Algoma Archery in the town of Assinaboia Saskatchewan. Canada.Owners names where John and Randy Godson.They built short bows they called Packbows which where pretty awesome shooters.I got my first long bow and lam birch arrows from them.As for the arrows they where works of art and tough as nails!!!!But they where like ash in that if any took a warp they where difficult to get straight again.It may have had something to do with all the lams be ing glued together.Later they sold there businines to a guy in Prince George B.C.Hope this answered your question.

Yes, thankyou Thor, that name rings a bell for certain. I will go from there. So glad that you replied. I was hoping someone here know of them. It was in a Canadian Hunting magazine that I first heard of them, and ended up getting some...still have a few. Take care.RR
