Need to buy some DOUG FIR shafts...ideally they'll be tapered for points/nocks since I'm lazy and lack taper tool..want matched for weight/spine... who?

I'm about to run out of arrows I made from KELLY's perfect chundoo shafts. I'm assuming chundoo is a lost cause these days but would be open to suggestions.

Yep, Surewood is the way to go. Great shafts and really nice people to deal with

IF Hildebrand still has any left he'd be my choice, especially if you want them tapered, 9" and every one of his tapers are perfect.

Surewood has no equal. And, I've bought from just abut all of them

I beieve Hildebrand is out of business. If not, I would definitely not recommend them. I was a happy customer since their first day, but things changed a lot when the original owner passed away.

Wapiti Archery has Doug fir also, but not sure on the tapers, you would have to check their webpage.

The Hildebrand site says they are not taking any orders. I've had good success with Surewood and they can nock taper and weight and spine. The shafts have always been excellent. And I still have a few of Kelly's chundoo shafts left, too! I don't know of any suppliers.

Surewoods hands down, that is why the only doug fir we will sell comes from them. Terry

What they said. Always had great shafts and great service. Also if you an’it shooting overly long shafts they have good prices on 28” and 29” shafts. Nothing wrong with the shaft but they cut off the bad ends. Think you got to buy 50, but that can be a a few years supply. Mine were.

surewood. They pretty much make themselves, I don't think I've needed any straightening.

The footed shaft has Douglas fir.

I've probably bought 15-20 dozen from Surewood Steve- they are ALWAYS top notch. Steve has always gone out of his way to make sure I get what I want.
