I have a nm baraga that's 48 at 30. I draw a touch short of that. Looking for a little thinning help in selecting an arrow spine in aluminum or carbon

I have a longbow. (not sure what a baraga is) it is 48 lbs at 27.5 inches. It takes a 500 spined carbon arrow cut to 28.5 inches. that is with a 145 grain field point and a 75 grain insert. I think that info could help, it all depends on point weight etc.

So how long do you want your arrows overall? How much tip weight are you going to use? How close to center is the bow, not how did the bowyer make it, how is it set up right now, the way you have the sight window set up? and lastly what kind of string do you have on it?
Arrow spine is extremely simple everywhere but here.

Honestly, folks know less about it then they did fifty years ago. Instant answers on the internet negates the need to learn how.
