I have had a problem lately where I am shooting to the right. I'm a right handed shooter. It isn't my arrow tune and isn't My grip. I am starting to think it is caused by a weak bow arm. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Well....what would make you think it is your bow arm? My guess would be that it is your grip actually. UNLESS you are casting the bow off to the right at release. Can you feel that you are pushing the bow to the right?

Well my grip is good I believe. I haven't changed it in years. Low wrist, all to the right of the life line. I can't feel my bow arm jumping to the right. I feel is my bow arm because it seems to get worse as I fatigue. The problem is worse when I shoot with a clicker

Hmmm. A clicker is tougher for sure. Are you sure you aren't trying to push too much with the bow arm?

I just posted over on TT abouth the opposite...new warf with flyers 3-4" left of spot that couldn't be atrributed to any of the usual suspect. I'm also RH, but have shot a slightly closed stance forever. fixed mine with a slightly open stance. If you're open or neutral, it might be something as simple as closing it up a bit.

Sorry to be such a tough case but I usually shoot completely closed stance and I tried an open stance to fix ut but didn't seem to make a difference

2 things I know will make ME shoot right.
1. Trying to over extend my bow arm (I'm right handed as well)
2. Raising my head up too much.
That is after elimiating the other things that you metioned initially.

If I pluck the string my arrows go to the right. This usually happens when I start to get tired.

A crappy plucking release will cause arrows to the right for a right-hander.....or a non consistent floating anchor.

Solid anchor on my eye tooth. I'm at full draw for a solid 4 seconds. If it's a pluck its very subtle. Hmmm in very confused

When I get overall tired I start shooting left. Hope you discover the underying issue. Any chance you have someone that can watch you or video you while you shoot? The newer Samsung phones have a slow motion feature that may help.

take video of yourself when you are not tired and shooting straight and when you are tired and shooting to right.
you may see something.
if you check the shooting sequences frame-by-frame, it will be easier to compare side by side.

I fought the same thing last summer/fall. I bought a Super Kodiak and everything was going to the right - didn't matter the distance. I knew it wasn't the bow, and I suspected, as you put it, a weak bow arm. I bought a stabilizer and a bow sling because I just didn't know what else to do. I notices immediate improvement. After probably a month I took off both, the stabilizer and the bow sling and I now love shooting that bow.
At this time I'll also thank SB (Steve Baker) for his continued encouragement.

Thanks for the Input guys. I generally shoot instinctive and I think somehow my brain got to thinking that 2"to the right was dead center! I started gun barreling yesterday and my right misses cleaned up. I'll do this for awhile to re calibrate my brain

I know that when I get tired I tend to move my bow arm to the right also. It happens at the end of a session. Jawge

Most times throwing some of ur arrows right is plucking on the release cause by an overly tense fore arm and hand. Try a deeper hook on the string. If you're not using ur back shooting a clicker could make it worse.
