Found this guy while looking for sheds. Couldn't tell what he died off. Coyotes got to him. I think I may have seen him during bow season. Had two bucks come in. I took a shot at the closer one (15yrds) shot over his back. Maybe I scared him to death. Sad to see he didn't make it.

Clean up the antlers. Mount them yourself. Great wall decoration. Save them as a reminder of what roams your woods. Incentive for your next hunt. The land has given you a gift of untold value and it is for you to decide if it is realized. Hunt well.

With all the snow melt around here lately, there sure are a lot of dead, car hit deer on the roadsides. The buzzards haven’t arrived yet in my area.
