Just thought i'd post a quick video of my shooting from today. If you remember my last video, I feel like i have my release and follow through tamed, but still working on it. Also, my grip is a little different. I am pretty much just holding the bow with my index finger, but on the video it appears like i am not even holding the bow with my fingers at all. I know it's hard to really tell what's going on while I am wearing bulky clothing, but i'm still working on getting my back tensioned. I need to find another location to mount my phone so I can show you guys some different angles. today wasn't a good session accuracy wise, so i only took a few shots and put the bow away. Enjoy.

I went to work this morning and it was -22 in the neighboring town. It's still winter in Wyoming until 4th of July

Release and follow through look good to me.

EF, maybe flooded is the correct term. Our place looks like a swamp. No snow though. Sd, keep shooting and working through form, the accuracy will come. it can be frustrating, but well worth the time.

No plucking sound in the bow. Just a swish as it should be. Excellent release.

Nice shooting form. Crunchy snow so yeah, its cold! I worked in Powell when it was that cold, building steel warehouses. It was cold up on them there rafters!

Kyle,,,,i think you got the fundamentals down Accuracy will come with practice

If i was going suggest anything,,,,try square'n up the ball of your left shoulder with the target more Put that shoulder in line with your bow arm so you have a straight line from your grip to your shoulder,,to your drawing arm and itll help engage your back muscles Standing more parallel to the target when you draw if that makes sence to you

Here,,,Jeffs better at this stuff then me

The only inconsistency I can see is what you are doing with your bow hand fingers on the front of the bow. Watch your video especially in your second shot compared to the first and third shot. There is some differences in the first and third shot also with placement of those fingers but mostly on the second shot. You look like you are searching for where to place them, or what to do with them. This can cause inconsistency with the shot and cause bow torqueing. I would like to "suggest" you take your ring and little finger of your bow hand and bend them back out of the way, bending them at the second joint of the fingers and holding them there loosely, when you place your hand into the bow (keep them bent out of the way) and only use your index and middle finger to hold the bow. That way you won't have to figure out what to do with them as you are shooting. You don't need to use them to hold the bow. DANNY

Notice which way your draw hand fingers are pointed at full draw and which way they are pointed after release. That is not a natural follow through unless you are putting a lot of downward torque on the string. Forget the exaggerated follow through just let it happen.Good luck. >>>----> Ken

The bow in the video is a 44#

After I recorded the video, I watched it and I did notice the fidgeting on the fingers of my bow hand and it looked like I would grab the bow upon release. I feel good with my release hand, so I’ll keep working on my bow hand.

Agree with 2bears about the finger position of the drawing hand. The fingers don't end up in the same position on each shot. Nor should your hand be flying as far back as it is. I know that flying release is the "in" thing right now, but it typically isn't a real reaction.

The fingers on your bow hand don't matter if you aren't gripping the bow with your fingers. What matters is where the bow is in relation to the palm of your hand. You DO however want to have enough consistent control in the bow arm, to hold it dead still on release.

Follow through isn't in the string hand/release. Follow through is in the bow arm. Ensuring that you hold the bow dead still until the arrow clears.
