My first ever bow was a bright blue Bear compound. I had shot recurves bows to start, but that was the first one that was mine that I remember. I want to start my daughter out with a traditional bow (she is 10 years old) and thought it would be great to "warf" my old compound for her. I have to admit I do have an ulterior motive as I would eventually like to do this with a compound riser for myself and thought this would be a great learning experience. Does anyone have a forgotten set of youth bow limbs laying around that I could buy? Something even damaged but serviceable would be fine as I want to modify the limbs and not the bow so I can return it to original for sentimental reasons. Thank you in advance! Chaz PS. My daughter is already hooked having killed deer two years in a row with her crossbow. I just need to start getting her ready to transition to a vertical bow as she gets older and stronger.

Chaz,,,,im not a WARF guy but if you tell folks what Bear bow,,riser,,you have itll be easyer to help and even find out if its possible to convert said bow Here again not my thing but i dont think its a youth limbs thing,,as much as just a lower draw weight set if limbs for a certain length riser If its possible to convert riser a set of Samick limbs are cheap enough but a ILF convertion would let you adjust draw weight as your daughter grows and gains form and strength Post a pic of bow and specs,,,,good luck

Look at southwest archery "Little tiger" limbs. come in 16#-20#.I bought some of the spyder limbs and they pretty much bolt right to a black bear riser. You might have to do a little grinding with a dremmel.
