Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of Perkin knives made in the UK? I stumbled on them while shopping Amazon. They look pretty nice in the photos.

I just looked at their Home page. They state that the smithing comes from outside of the UK. It's my opinion that they are probably made in Pakistan or India. The knives look an awful lot like the stuff being sold on ebay for a lot less money. I could be wrong about the whole thing, but I'd stay clear of them. Lance.

Any Pakistan knife I ever saw would not sharpen/take an edge or if I could get some sort of an edge on it, it would not stay.

I think I will go to their website and see if I can contact them for information on where their knives are made.

I agree, you can find anything you want in a knife, at a fair price, in the US, and a lot of them are right here on LW

I agree with Lance. A lot of their knives look like the typical Pakistani blade. I went to their website and couldn't find anywhere about where they were made. All it says is they designed them.
