Hey all,
I just wanted to post and thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts you gave me when I asked for them last week. I just found out that the X-Ray of my skull was totally normal. I can't tell you how good that made me feel. I don't know if my doctor will want other more invasive tests or if she'll accept these results as verification. I'll just have to deal with that as it comes.
This is the first time I have ever had anything that medically serious happen to me. I can't even tell you what I felt like after hanging up the phone with the nurse that told me. I kinda felt like I had been hit with a sledgehammer I guess. LOTS of things went through my mind in the following days. Very few of them were positive. I just had to believe that things would turn out OK and they did.
So I want you all to know how much those prayers and good thoughts meant to me in the last 4 days or so. I couldn't have made it through without them. You all gave me the strength and will to get up each morning and face the day and believe that things would all turn out great. I don't know whether this is the end of this with my Doctor and she'll not want any other tests or whether she'll order more. I'm ready to face either one. I know I have so much support and prayers from my Brothers and sisters here at Stickbow and that will get me through it all.
Thank you all so much! I just can't express what you all done for me and how you helped me. I wish there was a way that I could thank each one of you in person. You all are the greatest people I've ever been a part of.
Have a great week and tell your loved ones what they mean to you. We're not given tomorrow.

I wish good health to all LWers. Take care of yourself, preventive health habits are so important. While nothing is guaranteed, preventive health is simply smart.
I praise the rational minds that invented Xray,s CAT Scans, MRIs, and modern medicine. A triumph of education and science.

And thank the lord for creating 400,000 species of beetles, he must love them dearly and arguably more than any other species to create so many (30%) of all species. Very humbling for our 1 species of human (well, arguably a few more according to the fossil record). Beetles rule! And probably will be ruling long after humans are gone gone gone.

Great news, Praise the Lord!
I know how that kind of anxiety works unfortunately. Last year I was told I had a tumor behind my right eye which coincided with some vision loss and constant dull pain. This was imaged by MRI. A month or so later I had a CT scan. Still no diagnosis. Without double vision or other major symptoms the Dr was reluctant to do more than keep an eye on it. I was at my wits end but gave it over to Him. It's been a year and a half and I'm fine. He is worthy of all the Honor and Glory!
