Been wanting to find one of these forever and recently got one as part of an auction lot. Paid up for the replacement gripper, but will watch for a $ store pool noodle for hood foam. What's the chance of finding one of those in black?

The top attachment arm is missing it's screw. I tried ordering a Socket Head Sight/Quiver Screw 5/8" - but it is too skinny (.0660 I think). Could anyone advise please a proper replacement screw?

Just get a dark color and you can spray paint it black. It doesn't have to be perfect up in that hood. Get yourself some rubber washers for where it attaches to the limbs.

Also, lower arm is a little different. Has a little angle bend at the end. I assume that's by design - different from top arm. But there's also a steel spacer/sleeve cylinder around the existing screw.

Silvertone 1484 amp...nice
Take existing screw to hardware store. You can then find out the thread- possibly 10x24 or 1/4x 20. It's a thumb screw/bolt should be easy to find. If not exact, find thread to match and replace both.

I have some very dark grey, almost black closed cell foam that works great for quivers. PM me the dimentions and your address. It’s much better than pool noodle foam.

If you have a under $5.00 store they have black "Yoga" foam blocks that have the feel of a rhinehart 3-D target and makes perfect hoot foam. Just cut with a hack saw, sawz all, bandsaw, bread knife whatever you got then shape and glue in with barge cement or plumbers goop. If you have a walmart near buy or a target they have yoga blocks but most o\f time Pastel colors and get 2 for @ $10.00

Where do you find replacement grippers for these? The ones on mine became brittle and broke apart.

Zonic, Here's mine mounted on a 52" RWH. I was lucky with mine. Mr. Stout had the parts I was lacking and from the 2 quivers I was able to make one. The gripper is adjustable for bow and arrow length in case you didn't know. I bought my one shiny bolt at Ace. They'll probably have everything that you need. You'll see in another photo that I still haven't painted it. When you mount it, leave the fittings loose and then tighten it up when you're happy how it sits. A good solid bow quiver. Have fun. Lance.
