Last week I finished my 4th & 5th Sika bows. This model I'll really lovin. I also have to say I love elm limbs and walnut riser. If a guy told me build one and didn't care what I use, It'll be elm and walnut.
I built these bows one with black and red, didn't take pics and it's gone already. And this red and Brown one, a 58" with a draw of 53# @ 28".

That is great. Elm is great wood. I think it was Fedora that told me it was his favorite for a longbow. What is a regional bowyer?

I think red elm under clear is really classy looking. You can have all those curly swirly grain stuff, that is a fine looking bow there.

Not too shabby,. I really like the shaping on the tips and overlays. It shows that you know the craft very well.
