I will be out of pocket tomorrow morning, so I'm going to go ahead and make Friday's call Thursday evening.

Friday's shot will be a walk- up series... 25, 20, 15 yards. Shoot safely!

God Bless,

CD

first shot way to the right and up.

arrow cork-screwed for 25yds, so I really must have screwed up (or down, or sideways) at the release.

bottom two, right is 20/left is 15.

Thank you CD for making the call. Hope everyone have a good day today! -ted

Today is several FS repeats. It rained hard on Wednesdays and I had a early morning work meeting, so Thursday was shot, too. Allrighty, in addition I got a new to me Morrison Cheyenne in my preferred 56" length and I received this from the seller yesterday, so I thought I reshoot all the previous ones with this bow and some arrow I think "should fit". No previous testing. I start with the twister from Wednesday and the FS out of this bow is the one in the center slightly crooked (shot from an angle and from 10 yards facing 180 degrees away from target), next one from 15 yards is the right hit and the one from 20 yards is the left hit.

Next one is the shot from yesterday with a low hanging obstruction. Picture shows target from shooting position.

I moved slightly to the right for a lower limb for the shot and this is the result.

On to todays first shot. In order to make it more a FS, I gave the deer a break and used the bear. I think the arrows are a little on the weaker side, probably would prefer 125 tips over the mounted 160 grains. Anyways, the FS at 25 yards is the right hit, the second was 20 yards and I dropped my arm, so this is the low leg shot. The third one from 15 is the high shot in the center. I like the bow so far, the arrow need to be slightly adjusted for that bow. This is a high wrist grip which feels a little odd. I have the low and the medium riser as well and prefer the lower the best so far. We will see.

CD, thanks for the call and sorry for the long posts.

Thanks for the call CD. Used my 52"-48# RWH today. The 25 is high and the 20 and 15 are sitting next to each other and I don't remember which was which! I hope you all have a nice day (evening). Lance

Some very nice walk up groups above!

Picture is my first attempt. 25 is left, 20 is right, and 15 is center. It took 5 attempts to get all three in a reasonable group. Great practice!

Thanks Chad!
