And the girls have reclaimed the box; empty this time. Now I'll go find my Allen wrenches and put this puppy together. Thanks for looking and indulging me and the cats. Rosie's the Calico and Mau Mau is a 22# Maine Coon. Lance.

Sorry about that Aaron! I've been looking for one of these since I traded mine to George awhile back. Lance.

I saw that one too. I thought it was too cheap to be the CARROLL everyone talks about. My loss. Congratulations.>>>---->Ken

Profile and a photobomb by one of my dogs! Lance

Bob, Like I said, I've had one before and really liked the way it shot. I suspect this one will be the same. I've never used a plunger before so that will be something new to play with. (I shot the other one off the shelf.) And this one has inserts for a side mount quiver as well as being drilled and tapped for a Kwikee Quiver. I'll probably repaint the riser a satin finish hunter green or something close to it. The limbs are in great shape too. Lance.

Great lines on that one Lance. Congratulations!

From: oneTone

Yeah that is a fine looking bow! (Can't believe you didn't leave that empty box open for the cats! You gotta know how much cats love open boxes ....)

From: soap creek
Date: 16-Nov-17

Good for you knifeguy. I made a bid on that one myself. Never shot one before. Heard good things about them though. You'll have to post a pic after you get her all fixed up.

George, Does the Bow No. help date this bow? B910. Thanks, Lance.

Lance, I really don't have the answer on that one. I think the first one came out in 1970.

Congrats on the bow, I know one other family that has a Maine Coon. Really different from other cats. When you get the other bow string made, let us know how she handles.

Sell that thing Lonnie, it's too good to be hanging on that rack. Several guys on this thread would probably relieve you of that bow.

I thought those were really BIG string silencers...til they moved...;^)

Happy hunting, Jason

I own two of 'em. Both the Gentleman Jim and the "Target Model". The hunting limbs are inter-changeable with the Wing PII design-- without the tip overlays. Target limbs are longer, white and have overlays on the tips. Considered fine shooting bows in their day and oh so Classic... Shoot straight, rare breed

I saw it when it first came up and notified Crookedstix who doesn't like metal handled bows, lol! I think you did well to grab it! My cats love empty boxes better than any toy I bring home for them.

I put it together today and took my first 2 shots with it. Still have to make a string, so I used the one that came with it after I waxed it up and gave it a closer inspection, finding it ok to shoot. I took the plunger out and put a temporary strike plate on it so I could take my shots. Thanks for looking. Lance.
