Nice bow, but kinda' like any other. Some folks like them and some don't. Nothin special about the shooting of them. Workmanship is excellent.

Anythink Ron King makes is very nice, I espically like the Breed
I now have his Maverick and the Breed I'm a ASL shooter at heart but I do love my Breed, No plans of ever getting rid of it either
Have had a number of 50's style (never a whip) though ,Hands down the Breed is my favorite

The choice is definatly his.
I have had 3 Chinooks that were 60" and 2 Fox Breed Take Downs that are 62 inchers.
Really liked the Chinooks a lot.I prefer my Breeds for what its worth over the Chinooks. For me its the best overall 50s style recurve made after owning 50 or more.Cant go wrong either way IMO.
I did put a custom 8 strand SBD string on the Breed and Chinooks.I like it more than the stock strings on either bow.

If you haven't shot the Breed, then that's what you need to do before buying one. They are great bows, but many a great bow ends up in the classified for one reason or another, mostly because they just didn't work for that person. Try one if you can, or you are just taking a chance.

I completely agree with andy man . Ron King is a great bowyer, my Maverick is my go to bow...but that being said the Chinook is a phenomenal bow it’s one of the few bows that will never leave my harem Dan Toelke is great to work with, and the lead times are crazy Highly recommend his bow bolt
