I was looking and lusting through the first shot thread tonight even though I didn't get to participate and noticed something special. Two of the shooters were showing off their Box Call hats. These hats are so special, the style is just right for a trad Hunter. I love mine as I'm sure all you that have won one of them does. I thought we should have a thread where we model our hats. Best if hunting but that is not possible for everyone. So let's show off those hats! This should make a nice calendar! Lol I'll be first.

Love mine. Perfect hat. Fits in my front pocket, doesn't mess with my string at draw and makes me pretty.

I've got so many hats you could call me the mad hatter but my favorite is this Banjo Paterson Akubra, made in Australia. I've had it for many years and it's been everywhere with me.

Box Call makes hats fancy enough for anyone and even makes anyone look fancy! Even makes some of us old hoots look better! He hasn't posted one of himself here yet, maybe he has given away all his hats!

My hunting hat: Red Head fedora. Short soft brim that folds away for a shot and shades my eyes and keeps the rain from running down my neck.

I think what Dan is doing for a hobby is really nice. i was not bragging up my hat. It was given to someone that didn't like it. So the person that bought it gave it to me. Some people think that the more a hat covers my head the better. They use to make caps and stocking caps by the millions here. All of the stuff comes from China now and it is not as good. I don't remember ever printing any catalogs with bucket hats in them from K Products like Dan makes.

Mark, Dan will certainly make you a hat for a trade for material. I sent him 2 pair of Mossy Oak chamois pants I no longer used and he made me a hat and a few more to give away. Win, win for me and others that won a hat from him...it's a great thing he does. Will be sporting mine for the season opener in Pa. Saturday sitting with my grandson.
