If you're going to name it Frisky,is there a road nearby. Hehehe. JF

Looks like a nice food plot where Frisky can sit along the edge and play with his pocket knives. Poke, poke, in good fun of course!

From: bodymanbowyer
Date: 23-Sep-17

That's what I thought. Get hit my a vehicle and then he can say he got one. Lol. JF

From: RonG
Date: 23-Sep-17

I don't know, it looks to far out in the woods for Frisky.

It has too much dirt he might get his knives dirty and throw a fit.

Now you really made a mistake naming a piece of property after him, we will never hear the end of it, he will want to build a cabin and move in.

That is about all I can do tonight, pretty tired from hurricane clean-up.

Would this be the ‘Holy Grail’ of hunting fields?

From: Lost arrow

People who achieve a level of supremacy far above everyone else always become targets by jealous want-to-be's. It is only fitting and proper that a supreme hunting spot would be named "Frisky ". Why all of the smarty pants comments? 9/10 Broke, you have done a great job on the plot.

From: Frisky
Date: 23-Sep-17

My yes man has done a good job on you people, but I believe I'll take the bait and comment. You're obviously feeling guilty, as you believe food plots and tree stands are for lesser hunters, yet, you have no recourse but to hunt this way. However, by using bows that sound like a .308 going off, you actually negate the advantages offered by your sneaky tactics. I, the Legend Among Legends, will never stoop so low as to actually plant food for deer and then sneak attack them. MTQuiver is even worse! He hunts the same way, but also has the only water source around, sitting right by his stand! Then you have Crookedstix and Weapon X. Talk about a farce, lol! The more you folks modernize to fool a deer, the less successful you ultimately become. I learned this and intend to take a deer, fair and square, this season. In fact, even though temps here in MN have been at a record high of around 90, I think I'll make this the first September ever that I get a deer! I probably won't have to wait for my beloved October.

Jeff took my thoughts to quick. Had to have a road and a vehicle close. Only Frisky a deer with headlights. :-D Joe, I guess as long as you don't plant the crop field and you're not the one who hung the stand then it's okay to use both? As it is then just using the resources you have and not what you made?? BTW- If you were really the legend you claim. How about make a selfbow from primitive tools, sapling arrows, your OWN stone points and lets see what happens...

the truth is that I am still laughing like a school child over the House Invasion. HAHAHAHAHA!!! You can't really call it an invasion if you asked them to come by, to which, had to be the case, because you posted you knew they were coming.

Well,it looks like I'll have to make a special trip to Alabama to string Batman's bow, so I'll stop by those food plots and show you what a real bow is all about, plus teach you how to hunt the proper way.

Bones- I told them I was going to be gone, so they left Colorado two days early and then announced to me they were 15 minutes from here! I got online to say they were 15 minutes away, when I heard someone yell, "Frisky!" I thought it was MTQuiver stopping by. I cut my post short and ran downstairs and it was Crookedstix! How the heck he traveled 15 minutes in two minutes, I'll never know. So, it was a home invasion! Then, they sat there like a couple of bums and made my poor, old mom wait on them. I had asked if they had eaten and they answered, "No, we haven't had much of anything since Knifeguy's trail mix ran out and the saloon closed."

Frisky has an open invitation to hunt here. I'll put him on anything from 40 acres to 100+ thousand acres. No feeders, no food plots, no agriculture and worst of all (for Frisky) no roads. I'll even set up a camp for him. But he'll need to bring his own store bought meat cause I ain't feeding him. Just throw the holy grill in the Buick and come on.

Oh yeah, I forgot the warning label: (in my best hillbilly speak) We ain't got no flat land around here boy.

Don't name the plot.Name your Jeep Frisky and get a cowcatcher bumper

Tonight, I shot in the driveway with MTQuiver. He put an arrow through my garage window! Actually, he put it through the hole Crookedstix, followed by Pdiddly shot through the window. I was a bit disgusted by the entire affair, but at least the arrows all stayed in the yard. All of these so called legends turn out to be disappointments when you actually see them shoot and hunt. You should all be as thankful as Lost Arrow that I'm around to provide true legendhood!

Frisky will never go south. He is afraid to cross the Iowa border.

From: Frisky

Dean- You're next on my list to teach how to shoot!

Joe

From: dean

of course, considering how many wild arrows are flying around Ausin, that doesn't sound so safe either. I would think that with Frisky, the one true legend, others would learn from his example and stop hunting garage windows.

From: olddogrib

With a name like that just remember that whatever you plant should not require an fertilizer, but will likely come up mostly weeds anyway!

Frisky,pm me your address.I will send you a camera and a sd card, so you can take pictures of all you kills.Free..then you can post them up for all us legend want-a-bees.,,8-)

From: Pdiddly
Date: 24-Sep-17

My goodness!! What a bunch of hooey! Frisky begged us to come and see him...likely so he could rifle through my car and swipe some elk as he can't get any since one has to actually go and hunt for them.

And there were no windows shot in the garage...far from it!!

Frisky was speechless when he watched me put two in his turkey target's head with my Howatt Saber, which is a wicked good bow...it was about time that Frisky saw how a real bow performed!

Anyway, once crookedstix and I finished shooting Frisky didn't so nuff said!

From: RymanCat
Date: 24-Sep-17

Whatever you do don't invite him over there the Cat brigade might follow him and start using your plot as a big garden spot? LOL

Then you will be like me shooting and eliminating Cats and be burdened with that next.

From: Frisky
Date: 24-Sep-17

I'll post proof of the window tonight. By the way, I never saw such bad shooting as I did the other night. That's why I kept my mouth shut, HAHA!

Joe

Frisky, if you ever want to come this way and visit old girl friend and learn how to shoot live game with a real Holy Grill, I could give you some shooting tips and let you try some real bows that are accustomed to killing game. I may even fire up my other holey grill, the Weber, and cook a couple of ribeyes.

Oh, I forgot about the kitties. He can bring them to the house across the street, she has 14, add Frisky's and she will have over 30.

Here's where three idiots all shot above the bags, between the bottles and through the window! None of them are ever going to shoot at my range again!

Joe

From: GLF
Date: 25-Sep-17

I dunno Frisky, looks to me like it would take some mighty fine shooting to get between them bottles without hitting em.

From: Pdiddly
Date: 25-Sep-17

Thanks GLF!!

I would be taking a deep bow alongside crookedstix and MTQuiver if we could all deliberately, let alone accidentally, shoot an arrow through that itsy-bitsy hole between the bottles.

Of course no one shot a hole through that window almost three feet above the target...we sent arrow after arrow into the head of the turkey target with unerring accuracy.

HOWEVER, looking at the picture, I think I now know the root cause of Frisky's wandering mind and predilection for very tall tales.

Looks like he's been brushing his teeth with fuel stabilizer or anti-freeze or something!!!

His brain is obviously pickled!!!

From: dean

I feel for ya oh Friskered one. Some people cannot hit the broad side of a barn even when they are inside the barn.

From: grizz
Date: 25-Sep-17

Hard to tell who's telling the tallest tale.

From: Frisky
Date: 25-Sep-17

Dean- Pdiddly has such great night vision, he thought the NFAA pheasant target he was shooting at was a turkey, lol! I'm just glad I fortified the area with 4 by 4 feet of bags or I'd have even worse damage.

Joe

P.S. This was at 15 yards! Their excuse? "I'm not used to shooting this close."

From: dean
Date: 25-Sep-17

Looking at the picture I see the problem. Frisky did not put the bag in the right spot. When someone misses the bull's eye two feet high, they really didn't miss. The bull's eye was two feet low.

From: dean
Date: 25-Sep-17

Just like when whiners report their arrows are hitting a foot left. Jeez, think about it. Just move the target over a foot to the left, see what that does.

From: Frisky
Date: 25-Sep-17

Right on, lol! I'm tired of all these tree stand climbing, out of breath whiners.

Joe

From: Pdiddly

Frisky never took a shot...he knew he just better sit back and watch some real legends!

I liked his cats, except when they tried to escape to Canada by hiding out in my truck.

That food plot should have been located in the grassy area between interstate lanes. The Jersey barrier would have made a nice natural blind for Mr. Frisky similar to his other wilderness outings.

From: nomo
Date: 26-Sep-17

In order to name it Frisky, wouldn't it have to have stripes down the middle and maybe down the sides? ;~)

From: dean
Date: 26-Sep-17

They are jumping the North border too now? Just kidding, but you drove all of the way from Quebec to meet Frisky? i drove by his house one day when on the road to meet up with the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet, but just the sight of the Legend made nervous so i kept driving.

From: Frisky
Date: 26-Sep-17

Go ahead and mock all you want, but the cooler weather is here and I'm ready to rock and roll!

Joe

From: nomo
Date: 26-Sep-17

Frisky, if ya set near one of those deer crossing signs you might do some good because that's where they all go to cross and sometimes they don't make it. ;~) Good luck Joe and others.

9/10 ..if there is a fork in that nearby road, make Sure that Frisky takes it! Sandy
