About a year ago I helped a buddy get into this sport and gave him the target I used in my man cave for blank bale shooting. Well, after a year of no blank bale shooting my form has deteriorated and my accuracy has suffered. So I got another blank bale and set it up in my man cave again. My plan is to not shoot outside at all for at least a month while I re-train the brain. In the past I would shoot the blank bale during the TV commercials. It worked well in the past, I hope it works as well this go around.

My form is absolutely perfect, until I add in aiming. LOL!!!

You can practice form, but you can't practice aiming with form.

All the aiming in the world won't help you if your form and follow through is inconsistent.

Clydebow, I am getting old, my brain takes longer to be re- trained.

Sounds like you are aiming at the center of your blank bale, maybe time to shoot at clouds, the horizon or a big pile of dirt. The shot is not over until the follow through is finished. Examine your follow through.

Amen! I need to get back to more focus on form. I seamed to shoot better with close shooting in basement! ~Wojo

Something I recently learned at a coaching seminar. The release and follow thorough are reactions. Everything you do before the release is an action. Do the actions correctly and the reactions will always be correct.
