Hey All, me and a few friends shoot 3D together almost every weekend. We have been joking around that we should just start a club or more like a shooting team. We have been trying to come up with cool fun names that are not offensive to put on a shirt or something.

Some of the things we came up with so far are:

XXLongbows Stick Shooters Seekers of the Foam Stick Ninja's

Help us out with some fun names we can throw on a shirt and see where it goes. Its all just for Fun. We cut up, joke around, harass compounders or make them wish they were having as much fun as us, have the best time we can out on the course. Usually half way through we are taking shots from the compound open mark. We are also serious, always keep score, and are active about helping others get into the sport, and improving our craft.

Do a bit of research into the local landmarks and Native American tribes and settlements in your area. Many folks think I am making it up that I used to belong to an archery club called Mudjaw Bowmen, but it was and still is an active club in Point Place, a peninsula just north of Toledo. The club was named after Mudjaw Creek, a creek in Point Place reputed to be the location of a Native American settlement. Mudjaw was a French-Indian word pronounced Moo-shaw, meaning "going away" because the creek that flowed through the marshy flats at the west end of Lake Erie dried up every summer. By the way, I still get back to North Toledo and Benore Road every now and then and Mudjaw Bowmen is still going strong. I would note that, despite the connotation of "Bowmen", the club always had many active women archers, some of whom could really shoot the lights out.
