Now you went a done it. Guess I got to break out my 72 SK. Was hoping for cooler weather though. Been hearing a few "my old bow" blew up stories lately. Had mine since day one. I sure like those SK's, kind of wish I would have had Vintage Works make me his reproduction instead of the 62 Kodiak.

i put a strap on quiver on it and it made this black stain . i cannot get it off . i tried rubbing compound those rubber straps hold nice .

Mr Bear was very high on the new Super Kodiak bow that he hunted wth it some and set down the takedown he loved so much for some hunts ! He started shooting the takedown in 1965 the design that was offerd to archers in 1969 after 3 1/2 years of him useing it !!!

I just got back from the range and shooting 28 targets with mine. Still shoots fine, just not as quick as my FF SK. Brought back some good memories of when I was a whole lot younger hunting the fields and woods of Illinois. We didn't see that many deer but there was always some rabbits to shoot at. We even tried shooting pheasants with flu-flus back then. Got them from Anderson Archery out of Grand Ledge, MI.
