My little buddy's came up to visit today and we did our usual target shooting, then we did some roving. While we were roving around the yard, Grandma surprised us with some homemade targets. Ya gotta love her.

The boys had a blast shooting at them and we had a good time following them around watching the fun and taking a few pictures. There were lots of misses too, but considering the small targets, they did heck of a job. I hope you don't mind, but I couldn't resist posting a few highlights.

And we got side tracked with a newt during the shoot, lol.

Mind? Man, that's why most of us are here. Love the pics, and the 2-D targets are great. Oh yeah, a newt at the shoot is cute! ;^)

Thanks grizz. I don't know who has more fun, the kids, or us. I'm working with them on their form, but at a slow pace. They're still little and I don't want any of this to seem like work to them. It's all about having fun right now and it sure is. Thanks again.

Thanks for the kind words 9/10, I appreciate it, but those little guys would bring out the best in anybody. We're already making plans for their next visit, lol.

Thanks everybody, it was a great time all the way around. One of the little buggers even managed shoot the nock off one of my arrows, lol. Broke it right in half at the end of the arrow.

Will, the shots at the animal targets were taken from pretty close up and of course I posted the best ones, lol.

Would love to see more 2D targets at shoots. They would be much cheaper for the club, and still tons of fun for attendees....especially kids.

That is really cool

I just found out that mom has to work, so the little buggers are coming back tomorrow. I just talked to them on the phone and the first thing they asked... "Can we shoot our bows"?
