I'm using Uukha limbs and the tips are so small it's difficult to find a tip protector that fits well.
So... I'm wondering if any of you folks have used Plasti Dip for limb tip protection. If so, how is it working out?

I use plastidip on Treebolts and it is has been VERY durable. But it has the head of the bolt to keep it from slipping off. That will be the variable I think.

I'd try waxing the limb tip first, then get it into the nocks to hold it on.

Its not sexy, but a chunk of heavy rubber gas line will work. And you can get any diameter you may need.

Check hardware store for electrical, phone cable end covers. I have been using them for over 20 years. Soft and formable. Cut to length if needed and place in hot water, shake, place on limb tip.

I recently bought a used Bear Montana from an older gentleman and he told me his cheap fix. Go to dollar store and buy a cheap spatula. (The silicone kind to scrape a bowl out) Get the size you need and throw away the handle. Slip the spatula on the bow tip then cut the excess part off leaving a nice rubber/silicone removable tip cover. He gave me a couple of them and they work great! Smaller spatula handle= smaller tip protector...

If you use rubber, make sure you take it off once a month to keep condensation from working on the limb tips.

I PlastiDip on my whole limbs and the two areas that wear out fastest are the area on my upper limb where the rubber part of my stringer goes and the limb tips. I put two coats of paint on before 2 coats of PlastiDip on this application and that seems to be much more durable.

Condensation isn't an issue with these limbs, George. There's no lamination's and no wood.

I'm with Pearl Drums on this one, plus you can seal the end with a little super glue and clamp in a vice for a few minutes and "bingo" all done.

I have used plati dip too. Presently using "Liquid electrical tape". It works well on the tiny tips of the Uukhas.

I'd not heard of Liquid Electrical Tape before, John. I looked it up, and guess what? It's PlastiDip. :^)
Looks like you can buy it in a smaller container. It looks like the ticket. Thanks.

If you don't jam the limb tip into the ground, there is no need to protect it! Adding weight to one tip will effect limb timing.

Well... I took Sipsey River's advice and got a can of Liquid Electrical tape (aka. Plasti-Dip). I put on three coats and it looks like it's going to work fine. I'll just have to see about durability. Of course I can always put a little more on if it wears or tears--I've got plenty. :^)

I like to just cut a thin strip of Gorilla Tape and lay over the tip lengthwise, then another one around it crossways. Peel it off after hunting season.

I use the screw head rubber caps from the hardware store (Lowes)on my Uukha limbs. They come in different sizes and are represented by color. I use the Green. Grey is larger, and I believe Yellow is smallest. The Green work perfect on the Uukha limb tips.
