I just spent the day with my 15 year old daughter. We cut 2 nice Hickory's and split debarked and sealed them. What a day. I am lucky she still likes to hang out with the old man.

Enjoy it for sure!

Been awhile for me, the oldest grandson is now driving. And my daughter has different priorities now. But all is good.

Enjoy it while you can. My daughter was a daddy's girl but as she aged she became very resentful, especially after I remarried. Now she hardly talks to me. Don't see her for years at a time. Count your blessings while you have them.

JusPassin, I hope things between you and your daughter eventually change. One of my friends ex-wife turned both of their daughters against him for over 10 years. They hated the sight of him. He remarried, and then one day the oldest daughter showed up at his house, told him that she realized one day that her mom had cheated on him, and lied to them. Both of his daughters see him all the time now. He told me it was a miracle, he never thought he'd see them again. Never give up hope.

I am very lucky, My 15year old daughter, while she has a active social and sports life, still jumps at the chance to go to 3d shoots with me. Especially if they involve camping.

There ain't no better 'luck' than that. You must have done something right my friend to have that so-called luck. Good job.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I agree. It may have a little luck attached but you did something right in the formative years. Way to go Dad.

And she wants to spend time with you doing something like that on top of it. That's great okie.

yes sir I love time with any of the kids. Here's my hard working Jo, splitting a large persimmon log a while back. By the way, the staves looked like propellers after a few weeks.
