I got this bow from James Rempp. I just happen to have yellow cedar that are perfect. King Rempp he builds them like no other King Rempp I am proud to call him brother. Rooty

I would love to have one with waves in it like that and even a hole through it. They are so neat looking.>>---> Ken

Like this. Another Rempp named Holy Yew

Beautiful. Holes, waves, and crooks. Do they still perform well? I have a beautiful, straight grained, straight bow, with reflex tips. Arvin made it for me and it is a work of art. It shoots well also. I am very curious about the "character" bows. What a thrill to shoot right along with the latest and greatest laminated bows. I can only imagine walking in with a bow with holes in it. Then you could say your bow might shoot better if you drilled a big hole in the middle of the limb. I have fun where and when ever I can. Have a good evening. >>>----> Ken

They all shoot the same if the bowyer does his/her job. The bow doesn't know it has waves or dips or holes through. I can honestly tell you a good straight self bow will shoot as fast and as accurate as any good straight glass bow will. Some are faster depending on the wood used. Yew makes a smoking fast bow when cooked right.

PERL DRUMS I have never checked the speed on any bows. The bow Arvin made for me doesn't require any adjustment on my part. With the same gpp it shoots the same as the big name bows. I was surprised but it sure goes with what you said above. I would like to try a "character bow" Are they a lot harder to make and tiller correctly than a good straight stave? >>>----> Ken

I have 4 Rempp bows and one I built with him. These are all great shooters. Rooty
