Besides the Dick Green posted earlier I also shot this 50# Kaibab...love the looks of these bows with the zebra wood sight window. I have the identical bow in 60# (both 58")so figure I will get dialed in with this one and then switch to the heavier bow as a possibility for elk.

Those are 1916's with 125 grain heads cut to 28". Distance was 20 metres. Hope I can keep that mojo going!

The limb laminations on these and the 60" Ocala are well designed and these bows cast well.

A closeup of the riser.

Aaron Gendron took a nice deer with his Kaibab last autumn...I think that model has been responsible for saving a lot of deer from the misery of a long, cold winter! ;^)

I really like the Ocala and the Kaibab from the mid-60s. Beautiful bows that shoot very well.

Ah, there's a bow that's close to my heart. My uncle, who passed away last year, gave me his Kaibab when I was 14 (a LONG time ago). I killed my first two deer with that bow.

It delaminated several years ago and is just a wall hanger now, but it's the bow that sparked my passion for traditional archery. Wish I could shoot it one more time.

That dark olive-green glass that was used on the Ocala and Kaibab remains my favorite, from a visual standpoint. Hard bows to beat, IMHO.

Nice looker, I've got one that's very similar but not sure of the year...40#.

Actually took 3 deer with the '70 Kaibab last season Pete:-) Ironically, I just grabbed a twin to your bow off of the big auction site 2 days ago. Eagerly awaiting its arrival.

It's a good issue to develop Scott!

I saw that Kaibab and the price drop. That was a good grab! You will like it.
