I have two White Wing recurves, and both have stabilizer inserts that are 5/16 18 thread instead of the standard 24 thread. Anyone know where I could get a vintage stabilizer that's 5/16 18 thread, and preferably one that was original to Wing recurves?

Nick -
For period correct, it's pretty much eBay - unless someone chimes in with one they want to get rid of.
OR...
You might be able to take a more period correct 5/16"/24 stab and replace the stud.
Hope all is well buddy.
Viper out.

Thanks, Tony. All's well. Hope same your way. Might try a visit to the machine shop with a 24 per thread stab and see if they can fix as you suggest.

The die to change a stab from 24 to 18 is fairly cheap or if you want to go that route, send it to me and I'll be glad to do it for you. No charge, just shipping. Chuck
