I made a trade with Redheadtwo for this '72 HF1225. I do believe it is the ugliest bow I have ever owned. LOL But after only a few shots to get used to it, I shot this group at 20 yards. It is definitely a "shooter".

As long as the bow will put them where You look! I don't know about the riser but the limb glass is very nice.

bow will be getting a complete refinishing job. It will look much better then it does. Anyone else shoot this model?

Ugly yes, but at one time that was the "cat's butt" for target shooters. If you think that one is ugly try and find a picture of the overdraw they made. Ugly and weird. But if you could get new limbs for your "ugly" bow I would try and procure one. Another one of those lost ops I made (Bear TD, 1970' for $150 new) and regret. Have fun shooting your Widow, looks like your off to a good start

M60gunner,you mean one like this? Beaty is in the eye of the beholder, and think the overdraws are plum purty.....and they shoot good too.
