Google.

Pretty cheap. Vanes which would probably have to be taken off.

I think you'd be better off with 3 Rivers and Fleetwoods. THey have feathers and points included, with extra inserts. 70 a doz.

Chinese sticks .One seriously couldn't consider those sticks they sell as proper shafts.they are bent unspined and poorly selected wood.Use Surewood ,wapiti ,rose city but not link boy.Just ask folk who bought them. Not my problem as I have made my own shafts since 1970 and still do. OSR

OSR

They are referring to carbon shafts on ebay.

No but some Chinese carbons are a bit rude too.You. Can get reasonable Chinese shafts from Oulay They sell mostly bamboo but also Indonesian Ramin and they sell other archery related products. Some IRQ products are OK as well but doesn't match up to American or European quality. Its just friends have got inferior goods from linkboy. We in the west had better look out as some Chinese goods are good quality now and getting better all the time.Being in Australia we deal with China a lot They buy our iron ore and gas and coal and then we buy their shit in return.Sad but true. Just following up on this thread. I needed a 600 spine shaft that was 32" long, and reasonably light. The only options were black eagle, who I've experienced very poor customer service from, and linkboy. I figured for 1/4 the price of black eagles I would roll the dice and give them a try. They were a bit heavier than stated. They came in at 5.8 grains per inch instead of 5.5. They also have a glossy finish I did not care for, but Every shaft in the dozen was within a few grains of each other. They shoot as well as any other carbon I've shot and seem just as durable.

Thanks for this follow-up. I've eyeballed these, and other, cheap shafts a hundred times. Always looking for ways to save, and inexpensive shafts are a big step.

I was just reading somewhere else where someone ordered them in a .500 spy e and they all spiked out at .700 instead. Probably a crapshoot on what you actually receive on them.

bigdog21...I like your post the most.

I agree with Bigdog21 as well, but when american companies won't make what I am looking for, what are you supposed to do? Should I shoot arrows that are too short because they are made in the USA?

And don't assume American made is better. It used to be for sure, but this isn't the same generation making goods with the old quality mindset. Carbon Express is made in China and has quite a following. I buy Easton aluminum arrows..quality arrows since 1930 and any size you need...and made in USA. You can also get .600 (1916) shafts in Tribute for about $44.00 a dozen shipped.

By the way, those Walmart carbon arrows are made by Carbon Express so you can look at those as well. The cheaper ones I think are the 30-50 designation and actually are a .600 +/- shaft.
