Hey all.
Just curious.
I look around on AliExpress and DHGate every now and then. They are basically AMAZON for Chinese companies and businesses to sell their wares.
Anyway, I searched for archery stuff and found lots of arrows. They've got wooden arrows, fiberglass and carbon. I checked out some of the carbon arrows. They are in the familiar spines and 30-31 inches long. They come fletched too. The prices are what caught my eye.
I am just curious whether anyone has tried these arrows and if you have, what do you think of them?
Thanks all Larry

Lots of guys have used these arrows. Huge thing on facebook a few months ago. Several companies are buying these shafts under their own name and many don't know about it.

I just mentioned similar regarding Walmart. Their carbons are branded "Allen", and are made in China.

The trick is finding the right ones...I have some eBay ones that are black, feather fletched and have a cresting sticker wrap. They are WEIRD. Super heavy, not straight, and not all the same weight.
They are my dedicated Judo arrows.

Made in USA is a misleading label. If final assembly or finishing is done here it qualifies. Making carbon and the EPA donot mix. One reason a lot of carbon shafts for arrows and golf clubs are made in Mexico

I bought some and have no luck getting them to fly right. Heavier, and weaker in spine then a gt 35/55, which I don't mind, but just can't get them to fly right, no matter what point weight I use.

I bought the Chinese arrows that are up for bid on Ebay and haven't figured them out yet. The spine is not right and isn't consistent. The Chinese arrows at Walmart with the Allen brand will not hold nocks so I ended up gluing them in. They seem to be spined correctly. The Carbon Express have been very good.

I bought some, for the spine they were very heavy. The 800 spine weighed over 100 grains more than a Gold Tip 600!

Another thing you'll see pretty quick if you get on those sites and look around for a while is that there is no honoring patents or designs in the Far East. Rip offs of American company knife designs is absolutely common place. No stopping it. There's also rip offs of Mont Blanc Pens too.
I need to get a dozen of those BLEMS at BigJims, the Pink Nugent ones.
I've never shot any of that brand or owned any. Are these Nugent arrows ok?
I'd like to hear from anyone that has them or has shot them in the near past.
Thanks Larry

I have to agree abount Chinese and Asian rim country quality being based largely on what they are paid to make. Heck, we do that in good old USA as well. In fact all manufacturers have to do that, or they won't be in business for the long haul. You aren't going to receive a Bentley if you pay for a Yugo.
I was at the top of the 'bash Chinese goods', and related, 'bash Mexican goods' pile years ago. Some of that was just an excuse to justify my racism. I am not that man now. With Christ I see men through different eyes.

Larry, I prefer to shoot wood. But... I have dozens of the blems from Jim. They are fine and I consider them to be all that I could ever ask for in a carbon arrow. Plus, by purchasing from Jim you are supporting a man that has his heart and soul poured into traditional archery. And he builds a halfway decent bow too. :)

Only thing I noticed about the blems is a rough finish. That I solved with 0000 steelwool and Acetone while removing labels. I do spine test them like all my carbons. I want to find the high side for nock location.

The blems can be very hit or miss. I have had some that spine very good and others that were way off. If ya have a spine tester I would check them all. Shawn
