Turned out better than i thought. Its 60lbs @28 inches .Just have to put some type of grip and finish on it. I was thinking a polyurethane but not sure if i can use it over fibre glass .Does any one know if you can or not or if tru oil would work better? Thanks and god bless.

Nicely done. I have always used oil-based poly on glass laminated bows and it works great. Sand and steel wool between coats. I recommend gloss for all but the last coat, as it is harder and more durable. The last coat can be flat or semigloss if you want.

Looks good- you might try VHT or the Duplicolor wheel finish on it.

Sorry I got so excited I forgot about the finish question. The VHT clear wheel paint is getting great reviews, I think I would give it a try. It is supposed to be very durable and dry very fast, two good qualities in a finish.
