Just want to thank all you folks that help us beginners and newbies and old guys and such. Nice to have real help at our fingertips. Last help was finding an osage stave. Got good leads, so thanks again! Wyatt

Wyatt, now I know what my problem has been, My thumb is messed up......Ha!Ha!......Just a little humor, I hope!

Yes I have to agree with Wyatt, you folks that have many years of experience in this art have not held back one bit when giving out info that keeps us new self-bow makers from going bananas.

The help has been way above what possibly would be expected, I want to use Wyatts thread and express my thanks also....RonG

Thank you Wyatt.

Pearl Drums, I continued on that hickory stave I messed up, by your recommendations I'm going to put a leather backing on it, just couldn't throw that piece of wood away, what a waste. Thank you!

You meant rawhide, right? Leather isn't a good bow backing, although it has been used.

Sorry Chris, yes rawhide!!!!! I have to be more careful of my terms.......Thank You
