Just wondering how you rate your Slammers for quickness? How are they for quietness and smoothness? I've got one coming and i've never shot one before. Thanks, Bob

Well, I guess you will find out. You ordered one already, and now you are asking about it. Okay then. They are much like any semi-recurve...hybrid style bow in performance. Like all of Leon's bows, the workmanship is impeccable, so as long as it fits you, I'm sure you will be happy with it. So I'm hoping you have a good fit with that beauty, and don't worry about the performance...that is a non issue with the Slammer.

I had one and should have kept it but thats what we do is swap n t r ade and buy n sell its fun. Anywzymine was super smooth and quiet and I think it was fast even though i do jot have a chrony. It shot great.

lite arrows will make any bow quick or faster. they are good shooters.

I would say that mine were quick.About the same as any moderate to aggressive hybrid longbow.I would not worry about its performance as far as FPS.It will be fine in that category

I own one and it holds its own against my recurves. They don't call them Slammers for nothing.

I've been looking at getting a Longbow for awhile hoping one would show up in the classifieds at the weight I wanted. Saw this thread and went to his site and there are 3...ON SALE! WOW! Now I'm lusting. Hahahaha

Well made bows. Mine was about as quick as another bow I owned of the same/similar profile.
