For any other hybrid longbow. I've kept my JK in the rafters for months as to give other styles and bows a chance. I sold all my carbon and old as a result of this bow some time ago. Well it's out of the rafters picking up where it left off. First shot on the mark and blowing big name bows away on the chronograph. I recently got an Ace same fees weight and it edges that out as well. It won't compete with my A mag but neither does anything eles. Rooty

Mine has a phenolic riser for a touch of mass. Rooty

What is JK? I would like to know too.

Do you mean Jason Kendall?

What is this mystery JK? And what are your chronograph stats. Was some one typing in the middle of the night after a few drinks.

I couldn't care less about "chronograph stats". Those have caused more heartaches in archers for no good reason other than bragging rights. The Kanati is a great bow and will perform as well as any bow of "like design." Better to have one that fits and shoots great, and not even know numbers.

This is mine,It shoots great.

True that chronograph numbers are a very small part just a bit of a confirmation. I disagree I have had a number of like wise designs and they do not compare. Not talking about speed. Spine stiffness arrow weight and flight. Believe it or not I could care less. Rooty

Cameron root Don't take me serious lol. JK makes a nice bow.

Nice one 3putter. Looks like your brace is right on. I've had 2. 1/2 higher than recommended really puts the high beam on. Rooty

bought mine from falcon got it fri and still adjusting to the light mass weight but its amazing how this featherweight little bow flicks an arrow

I guess I'm just picky. I like one that fits n feels good to me, shoots great, and has enough speed to push my 2219's fast enough to make me confident that it will penetrate the way I want it to on larger game. I don't switch bows or arrows on any big game I hunt.

That is a nice looking bow. I just wish they were made in 66-68 inch lengths. I am shorter LB ""challenged " for some reason. The only reason I did not order a Centaur instead of the recurve from Vintage Works.

I have two JK's, and really like them both. So much so I'm hoping to get a third, when my other bow sells. It's a hard decision on which one to shoot on any given day....

2219?? holy cow. you shooting 80#'s?

From: Cameron Root

Mine will shoot 2219' with ease. 65#@26. Before switching to wood 300 spine widowmakers with 300 grain boa broadsheets is a setup always ready. Rooty

I've always wanted to try one of Jason's bows.

I've had 2 first one came from Any Ivy in Australia 60" 73#. I was so impressed I ordered my own 56". I couldn't tell the difference both great. I recommended the phenolic riser for some mass. But again I couldn't tell the difference. Rooty

Well if you're shooting 2219, then you certainly have plenty of bow to likely penetrate a truck door, and in many cases a full pass through. Otherwise, it wouldn't shoot those 2219 worth a darn. )

JK shoots the green 300 spine. I have had a few bows that time to 250 spine. That's stretching it for me. I have one bow left that needs that. Rooty

Didn't know he made them in phenolic. I had one at one time but must have sold it because it isn't hanging with the herd, it shot great just too small a handle for me but would consider buying a new one so I can get it to fit me better.

I always shot 2219's in my Robertson Montana Falcon at 63# at 28"and they shot real good!
